Description:A view of Guy's Tower and the East Front at Warwick Castle.
In the foreground is Guy's Tower, 39 metres high and built in the fourteenth century. Behind it, the curtain walls run to the gatehouse, the most heavily fortified part of the castle.
The moat, or ditch, is also clearly visible. This never held water, due to the elevated position of the castle, standing high above the River Avon.
