United States of America bronze one cent, 1901


Diameter 18.5mm


The obverse features the 'Indian Head' design of Liberty facing left, the design is by James B. Longacre. The inscription around the outside reads 'UNITED STATES OF AMERICA' and the date is below. The reverse features the denomination within a wreath that is tied at the base with a bow, there are also three arrows tied into the bottom of the wreath. At the top of the coin is a shield with vertical stripes on the bottom half and horizontal stripes on the top half.
