Diameter 36mm


Medal struck to celebrate Allied victory in World War I. The obverse features the inscription 'THE GREAT/ WAR FOR/ CIVILISATION/ 1914-1919' within a wreath. The obverse features the goddess of Victory winged and wearing a breast plate. She stands facing with her left arm outstretched and holding the palm branch, symbolising victory, in her right hand. There is a loop for suspension at the top with a ring attached.
