Description:On this page of his diary, Thomas Greene enters a note that on 28 October in the previous year, William Shakespeare had entered into an agreement about the enclosure with William Replingham, which had been altered later to include Thomas Greene. A modern translation of the entry reads: 'On the 28 October Mr Replingham drew up articles with Mr Shakespeare and subsequently T Lucas included me also' Shakespeare Birthplace Trust reference: BRU 15/13/27 (r)
