Description:This is a child's pull-along toy of a bull on a four-wheeled base. It is made from polychrome painted wood and metal, and the bull's hide is painted in liver and white dapples.

Toys that moved, especially pull-along or push-along animals on wheels, were very popular by the early 19th century. This is confirmed by the number of portraits depicting a child with their pull-along animal toy.

It dates from the 19th century. Height 385mm, Length 480mm
