Description:This armchair is made of ash. It has in-curved front arm-supports nailed to ring-turned uprights, on ring-turned legs joined by stretchers. There are seven sticks at the back. The old dark green paint has worn away in some areas, particularly on the arms, to reveal the natural colour of the wood underneath. It comes from England's West Country and dates from the early 19th century. Height 982mm, Width 585mm, Depth 735mm
