Description:This is a glazed pottery model of a black and white pig. Wemyss ware was first produced in Kirkaldy in Scotland in 1882 at Robert Heron & Sons Pottery, and is named after the Wemyss family of the local Wemyss Castle. In the 1930s the pottery moved to Devon where it operated until 1957. Height 282mm, Length 435mm, Width 213mm
