Description:The Dungeon in the courtyard at the back of Shire Hall, Warwick, in which the Quakers were imprisoned in 1681. It is said that 56 were put in here at any one time. There were eight stout posts, in each of which was a staple through which ran a chain. In the middle was a cesspit. 1890s
