Description:Withybrook showing a street with cottages. 1936

added 26/10/2022 information from feedback:

"This is at the top of Main Street Withybrook, entering the village from the direction of Bulkington. The cottage on the left is Holly Bank. The thatched cottage in the centre of the picture on the opposite side of the road is The Old Forge. One of the village wells is visible in the foreground as a capped square brick box in front of a large tree - it's still there in front of the village hall, although it's not in use."
