Description:Hillmorton High Street showing the War memorial. 1930s
[The first of the terrace cottages, just passed the thatched building on the right was the Village Hall and behind it was a cobbled courtyard surrounded by alms houses. There was a Water pump on the village green, just out of sight near the third tree visible in the centre of the picture. There was also a small blacksmiths shop down the lane behind the War Memorial.]
