Description:Studio photograph of Canon Henry Walford Bellairs, Vicar of Nuneaton from 1872 to 1893. He was educated at Oxford, and became an Inspector of Schools under the Peel government. He also founded The Cheltenham Ladies' College and was an honorary Canon of Worcester. He did a lot to improve the church and Grammar School in Nuneaton. During the Napoleonic Wars he served on HMS Victory. He died in 1900.
