Description:An English earthenware watering pot from Westminster. It was used to water the front of shops. The pot has a narrow neck and a small opening at the top. There are small handles attached to the neck and the base is perforated. The pot is red-brown in colour with traces of yellow-green glaze. There is a hole in the body of the pot and a crack leads from this to the the handle, c.1500-1599.
