Description:Letter sent by the general manager of Clarke, Cluley and Co Ltd on 8 September 1941, giving notice of the building of a new factory in Kenilworth.

Clarke, Cluley and Co. Ltd was established in Well Street, Coventry in 1884. The company initially made safety bicycles and later, after a short period of manufacturing motor cars in the 1920s, traded as general engineers. Following the Second World War the company moved to Kenilworth. Clarke, Cluley and Co. Ltd closed in 1987.
