Description:Fine silk handkerchief edged with lace. In the top right corner is a printed town scence in blue, red and brown, with "Souvenir d' Ypres" printed in blue below.

The handkerchief belonged to Ethel May Harrison (nee Tims). She had two brothers, Jack and Fred, who were both killed in action in World War One. They are named on the Leamington Spa War Memorial. They wrote to Ethel regularly during the war, as well as sending her souvenirs from France, such as a handkerchief and cloth case.
