Description:To be held for a term of 21 years [no annual rent stated], provided Greene takes on Edward Ley, son of Richard Ley, as his first apprentice for 7 years, and then two other apprentices in turn for further periods of 7 years, as nominated by Sir Thomas or, after his death, by his daughter Jane, and teaches and instructs them in his trade as a weaver.
