Description:

A late 19th century Faradic machine. It consists of a brown wooden box with a metal handle at the top. The lid opens to reveal switches and a cylinder covered in black velvet. A compartment contains two attachments made of wood and brass with a green cord. This compartment can be removed and reveals a second compartment containing two Red Label Columbia battery cells. Electronic treatment machines likes this one were used at the Royal Pump Rooms, Leamington Spa.
