Yass' Guy's Cliffe series relate to the tragic legend of Guy of Warwick who is the ancestor of Paul Heber-Percy, the director of the Heber-Percy Gallery. As the figure looks up at the ancestral house, the shadowy ruins evoke a mood of tragedy and mystery.
