Description:

Hand written copy of the Pali text, from Sri Lanka, written in the Pali language and Sinhala script. It is a copy of the well known sermon 'Mahasatipatthana Suttam Vitthara Mukhena' by Gautama Buddha written on palm leaves with two long rectangular wooden supports. The wooden supports have been brightly painted in red, yellow and black, and only one metal fixing remains.
