Description:An ornamental Haussa dagger, from Nigeria, with a metal blade and wooden handle decorated by green and black interwoven leatherwork.

The sheath is decorated by black and green leather bands and has a loop incorporated for carrying. The knife has red and yellow strands of beads tied around the hilt.
