Description:A predynastic Egyptian bowl, from Nubia, with a flat base and gently curving sides, 3050 BC

The rim is chipped and broken, and there is a hole in the base. It is made from a red ceramic and the upper one centimetre and interior are blackened due to the vessel being upturned in bonfire ashes after firing. The site reference number is written on the side in ink.
