Description:'Ancient' Peruvian bottle, made from Chimu reduction fired blackware.

The large oval bottle has a rounded base and two loops at the neck. One of the vessel's two handles is missing. The bottle is plain, except for one separately modelled head applied just below the rim. This is typical of Middle-Chimu pottery, 900-1476.
