Description:'Ancient' bottle from Peru, brought from Lima in 1880.

The bottle is a Chimu reduction fired blackware, with four spherical chambers and a stirrup spout rising from them. There is a small monkey at the base of the spout, which is typical of late Chimu pottery, made between 1300 and 1400.
