Description:A programme for a performance by The Leamington and Warwick Operatic Society of The Pirates of Penzance, by Gilbert & Sullivan. Performances took place at the Jephson Gardens Pavilion, Leamington Spa, from 30 May - 4 June 1949. The front cover depicts a scene of a policeman, a pirate and a lady in front of a pirate flag. The front cover is printed in red and black ink and was designed by Willow Art Studios. The photographs of the actors inside the programme are by Walden Hammond. On the back cover is an advertisement by the company K England & Son, in red and black ink.
