Description:A programme for a performance by The Leamington and Warwick Operatic Society of H.M.S. Pinafore, by Gilbert & Sullivan. Performances took place at the Jephson Gardens Pavilion, Leamington Spa, from 31 May - 5 June 1948. The front cover depicts an officer in a blue uniform, with a sword. The title H.M.S. Pinafore in red lettering goes across his legs. There is also blue floral motif all around the edge of the front cover. On the back of the programme is an advertisement by the company K England & son Ltd, in blue ink.
