Description:This is the original wood cut that was used to produce the copper stamp from Leamington Free Public Library, which was opened at Leamington Spa Town Hall in 1857. It is engraved with books and the crest of Leamington Spa. The inscription, which is in reverse, reads: 'BOROUGH OF LEAMINGTON, FREE PUBLIC LIBRARY'.
