Description:Black and white photograph.
Crude copy of the tank-shaped casket presented to Field Marshal Viscount Montgomery.
The casket contained the honorary Freedom of the Leamington Borough which was awarded to Field Marshal Viscount Montgomery by Mayor Councillor Davies on 4 October 1947.
The casket was probably modelled on the M7 Priest, a tank used by Montgomery in his African Campaign of World War II.
