Description:
Black and white photograph by Blinkhorns, Leamington Spa, c.1951 - 1961. View inside a marquee called the 'Leamside Inn' in the Jephson Gardens.
The marquee was set up for the Lights of Leamington, a festival held every summer (July - October) from 1951 to 1961. The first Lights of Leamington was the town's contribution to the festival of Britain. There is a long bar to the right and tables and chairs have been set up for customers. On the far wall is a large illuminated picture of Warwick High Street.
