Description:

Black and white photograph by Blinkhorns, Leamington Spa, c.1951-1961.

View of the inside of a marquee called the 'Leamside Inn' in the Jephson Gardens. The marquee was put up during the Lights of Leamington. The first Lights of Leamington was the town's contribution to the Festival of Britain in 1951. It then took place every summer until 1961. There are tables and chairs set out and a long bar to the left. There is also a large image of Kenilworth Castle on the far wall.
