Description:

(No.1603) Congregational Church, Holly Walk, Leamington

Print by Rock & Co of London

25 November 1860

80mm x 110mm

This print depicts a view looking west along Holly Walk with the Congregational Church to the left. There are figures walking on the pavements and a horsedrawn carriage in the road. The Congregational Church was built in 1849 and was designed by the local architect Mr Squirhill. By 1947 the congregation had dwindled and from then the church was used as a warehouse. It was converted into prize winning office accommodation in 1989 and still stands on Holly Walk today.
