Princess Louise, the daughter of Queen Victoria, visited Leamington for the opening of the Radcliffe Wing of the Midland Counties Home for Incurables on 26 June 1906. In the photograph Princess Louise is being received by the the Mayor Alderman Bennett, escort of the Leamington troop of the Warwickshire Imperial Yeomanry. Also in the picture is the Marquis of Hertford, Lord Lieutenant of Warwickshire, and members of Leamington Corporation.
