Danzig aluminium-bronze 5 pfennig, 1932

Diameter 17mm

The seaport of Danzig in Poland was established as a Free City at the end of World War I and remained so until Nazi occupation in 1939. The obverse features the denomination and the inscription 'FREIE STADT/ DANZIG', meaning 'Free City of Danzig'. The reverse features a plaice with wavy lines representing water and the date.
