Description:The Mayor of Rugby, Alderman S.G. Gibson, using a walkie talkie to report how the meal is being cooked by members of the Welfare Section on emergency cooking stoves. Also in the photograph, to the left, is Fireman D.J. Newman. At the cooker is Mrs. C. Rhead, one of the cooks, and background centre, Mr T.L. Duffy, Town Clerk. September 24th 1955
