Egyptian copper-nickel 2/10 qirsh, Hejira date 1293 (20 January 1876-15 January 1877)

Diameter 17.5mm

The obverse features the tughra, a calligraphic seal or signature, of Abdul Hamid II. There is a flower to the right and the denomination is below within a wreath of flowers. The reverse features a large central 2 in Arabic. Below is the first year of the reign of Abdul Hamid II, Hejira calendar, surrounded by Arabic writing.
