Kingdom of the Netherlands silver 25 cents, 1944


Diameter 18.5mm


The obverse features the bust of Wilhelmina facing left. The inscription reads 'WILHELMINA KONINGIN DER NEDERLANDEN', meaning 'Wilhelmina, Queen of the Netherlands'. The reverse features the denomination and the date. The acorn is the Privy Mark and the 'P' a mintmark for the Philadelphia mint. All are within a wreath of oak branches that are tied at the base with a bow.
