Death medal of King George III, 1820


Diameter 25mm


The obverse features the name of Jehovah in Hebrew above rays shining down on an Imperial crown. The inscription reads 'FEAR GOD HONOUR THE KING'. The Lord's Prayer is inscribed on the reverse.

The medal is by T. Kettle. It was struck to mark the death of King George III in 1820.
