Medal struck to celebrate the Working Men's Exhibition in Hull, 1870. The obverse features the building for the Exhibition with the inscription 'WORKING MENS ART, INDUSTRIAL & GENERAL EXHIBITION/ HULL/ OPENED/ JUNE 20TH 1870'. The reverse features the three crowns from the city's coat of arms surrounded by a wreath and the inscription 'J. M. Debes, General Letter Works, High Street Hull'.
