Diameter 25mm


Medal struck to commemorate the International Exhibition beside the gardens of the Royal Horticultural Society, South Kensington, from May to November 1862. The obverse features the Exhibition Building, West Front View, with the date of the opening above and dimensions below. The reverse features a globe within a wreath and the inscription 'TO COMMEMORATE/ THE EXHIBITION/ OF THE ARTS AND INDUSTRY/ OF ALL NATIONS' with branches at either side.
