The obverse features the coat of arms of Luxembourg. This consists of a crown above a shield bearing a two-tailed lion rampant. The inscription around the outside reads 'GRAND-DUCHE DE LUXEMBOURG'. Two Parisian Privy Marks - an anchor and a hand - are at the bottom at either side of a five pointed star. The reverse features the inscription '10 CENTIMES 1860' within a wreath of olive and oak.
