Italy, Kingdom of Napoleon (1804 -1814) silver 5 Soldi, 1810

Diameter 14mm

The obverse features the bust of Napoleon I facing right. The inscription reads 'NAPOLEONE IMPERATORE E RE', 'Napoleon, Emperor and King', with the date below. The marks at either side of the obverse inscription are possibly mint marks but they have not been identified. The reverse features a crown with the inscription 'REGNO D'ITALIA', meaning 'Kingdom of Italy', with '5. SOLDI' below. The 'M' at the base is the mintmark for Milan.
