Leamington Spa brass medal, 19th Century


Diameter 40mm


This medal appears to have been struck for a member of the Royal Leamington Spa Waits, who were an official town band of musicians. The obverse features a harp and the inscription 'ROYAL LEAMINGTON SPA WAITS'. The reverse features the inscription 'UNDER THE/ SANCTION OF THE/ MAGISTRATES/ & BOARD OF/ HEALTH'.
