Canadian bronze one cent, 1859

Diameter 26mm

The obverse features the laureate bust of Queen Victoria facing left within a central beaded ring. The inscription around the outside reads, 'VICTORIA DEI GRATIA REGINA/ CANADA', Latin for 'Victoria By the Grace of God Queen/ Canada'. The reverse features the denomination above the date within a central beaded ring. There is a full wreath around the outside.
