Jersey copper 1/13 of a shilling, 1858

Diameter 34mm

The obverse features the bust of Queen Victoria facing left. The inscription reads 'Victoria D:G: Britanniar: Regina F:D:', Latin abbreviated meaning 'Victoria By the Grace of God Queen of the Britains, Defender of the Faith'. The date is below. The reverse features a shield bearing the three lions of England and the inscription 'States of Jersey/ 1/13 of a shilling'.
