Roman bronze coin

Diameter 18mm

This coin was found at Chesterton Camp in Warwickshire. The obverse features the diademed and draped bust of Valentinian facing right. The reverse features the Emperor standing with a shield, head turned and placing his hand on the head of a kneeling captive, while holding laburnum in his other hand.
