Description:This switch is from South Africa. It has a decorative handle with bands of blue and white glass beads. Strands of palm leaves are attached to one end and a loop of multi-coloured glass beads is attached to the other end. Swithches like this could be found along the east coast of South Africa, as far as the Horn of Africa.
