Description:This pottery bowl is from Kabylia, in Algeria. The bowl was hand made by the Kabyle women. The bowl has a white slip, and was painted before being bonfire fired. After firing the bowl was taken straight out of the firing pit and a vegetable varnish was applied. The bowl was used by Kabyle women.
