Description:The grave goods from a female burial.
From left to right:
An iron knife with an bronze ferrule (strengthening ring) between the blade and the tang (point) that was inserted into the handle. 95mm long.
Three bronze toilet implements including a pricker, an ear scoop (58mm) and a pair of tweezers (30mm).
A portion of a container with traces of white cosmetic or ointment inside (42mm x 10mm diameter).
The two bronze ring-shaped (annular) brooches would have been originally fastened onto the woman’s peplos (woollen dress) at the shoulders and the amber necklace (with one glass bead) was suspended between them. The brooches are decorated with triangular motif that has been applied using a punch tool.
Finger bones and three spiral finger rings of silver (20mm diameter). Two of them were found still encircling the finger bones.
