Description:Duke Theseus’ hounds in Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Theseus’s praise of his hounds echoes the words of Ovid's book three: ‘My hounds are bred out of that Spartan kind... matched in mouth like bells, each under each...’ (A Midsummer Night's Dream, 4,1, lines 117-125).
