Description:A view of three defensive towers at Warwick Castle, viewed from the gardens.

The tallest is Guy's Tower, standing at 39 metres, and built in the fourteenth century.

In the foreground, protracting from the walls, are the Bear and Clarence Towers. These are the remains of an abortive building scheme begun by Richard, Duke of Gloucester (later to die in battle as Richard III) during the late fifteenth century. Had this reached completion, the towers would have become a formidable keep.
