Rugby. Matthew Holbeche Bloxam

Date: 1880 Description: Matthew Holbeche Bloxam was born in Rugby in a house which stood at the corner of Sheep Street and Lawrence Sheriff Street. He practised as a solicitor in Warwick Street but was better known as an antiquarian and wrote many papers on this subject. He was born in 1805 and died in 1888. 1880 [Editor's note it is believed this photograph was taken on the subjects 75th birthday 12th May 1880]
